Most professional advice gets delivered in silos.
Your accountant does the tax work. Your broker arranges the finance. Your financial planner manages the investments. Your lawyer handles the estate. They've never met. They send each other PDFs, sometimes. And the cost of that gap, while not always visible, is real.
We've seen it for years. A client refinances at the wrong point of the financial year. A trust structure gets set up that the lender then refuses to write against. A property gets bought in the wrong entity because nobody asked the accountant first. Each of these is a fixable problem on its own. Together, they cost serious money.
The A-Team network exists to close those gaps.
What's in the network now
Two firms, working out of the same office on the Gold Coast.
A-Team Tax. Chartered accounting for business owners, property investors, corporate clients, and high-net-worth families. (You're on the website now.)
A-Team Lending. Residential, investment, commercial, and asset finance, run by Lucio Morello as a Credit Representative of LMG, Australia's largest broking aggregator. Home loans, refinances, investment property finance, business loans, commercial finance, vehicles, and equipment.
Same family, same standards, same building. Different specialisations, talking to each other.
How that helps you, in practice
A few examples of what changes when both sides of an engagement actually communicate:
- Your accountant flags when a refinance window will be tax-efficient, before you sign anything.
- Your broker structures a loan the accountant has already signed off on, before settlement instead of after.
- Investment properties get bought in the right entity the first time, not unwound and restructured later.
- Business owners get commercial finance that fits the next tax position, not just the current one.
- For families with serious wealth, lending decisions get made with the broader structure in view.
You can use one without the other. Plenty of clients do. We're not bundling anything, and we won't push you towards a service you don't need. But when both sides know what's going on, the work gets done better. That's the only point.
Independence, properly
A note worth making clearly. A-Team Lending operates under its own credit licence arrangement and meets its own regulatory obligations as a credit representative. A-Team Tax is bound by the standards of CA ANZ and the Tax Practitioners Board. The two firms share an office, a name, and a way of working. They don't share files without your permission, and they don't override each other's professional judgement. If a recommendation from one side doesn't stack up against the other, we say so.
What's coming
We're building this out deliberately, not quickly. The plan over the next few years is to add a small number of further entities to the network, in areas that make sense for the clients we serve. Nothing announced yet, but the direction is clear. We want a tight group of senior people, each running their own specialty, who all sit in the same office and pick up the phone to each other.
Less paperwork between you and the people advising you. Fewer things falling through the cracks. Better answers, faster.
If you'd like to use both
Get in touch through either site and we'll arrange a conversation with both teams in the room. No charge for the first meeting. If we're not the right fit on one or both sides, we'll tell you.
More on the network as it grows.
